Sacred Rest

Restorative Yoga, Massage, & Sound

In the mystical traditions of many cultures, rest is understood as sacred — a spacious, quiet incubation where renewal and insight naturally arise.

Conscious rest is a way of returning to ourselves, where clarity and creativity can re-emerge without force. From this place of restful awareness, we can soften the grip of striving and reconnect with a more intuitive direction — one that feels guided from within rather than driven by effort.

In yoga, this is the energy of the moon (chandra/lunar), cooling and receptive, which is the counterpart to the sun's (surya/solar) fiery, active force.

☀️ Solar practices build heat and drive us outward into effort.

🌑 Lunar practices draw us inward, restoring what the world's pace depletes.

Restorative Yoga is a practice of accessing the liminal space between rest and wakefulness, where deep restoration naturally occurs.

But many of us are so activated that we spend the whole practice fidgeting, unable to settle.

Sacred Rest layers in guided meditation, live mantra, and hands-on massage to help you drop in more easily and settle the nervous system.

This is your invitation to release the grip of constant doing.

When we stop chasing time and learn to be still, we may find clearer direction, renewed vitality, and more presence to offer ourselves and the people we love.

This class unfolds around you while you do the one thing we rarely make time for: absolutely nothing.
