A Shadow is something you don’t know about yourself that causes friction in your life.

Examples of friction are:

Repeating patterns of unfulfilling relationships. | Procrastinating | Low self-esteem | Blocked creatively | Easily triggered by others. | Poor relationship with money. | Poor relationship with your body. | Relentlessly judge yourself or others. | Feeling lonely and unhappy with your relationships. | Feeling anxious or ashamed about some of your behaviors. | Burdened by feelings of resentment or anger towards others. | Feeling burned out or emotionally depleted, no matter how much rest you get.

In order to relieve yourself of friction, you must learn to see what you’re avoiding about yourself.

A good motivator for that is how fed up you are with the way things are currently going.

Shadow Alchemy gently illuminates your Shadows so you can live life in harmony with yourself and others.

It’s not a quick fix, but it is an everlasting one.

Shadow Alchemy Program

The 6-week Shadow Alchemy Program provides a framework for personal growth by teaching tools to expose your hidden mindsets, embody your felt experience, and elevate your relationship with yourself and others. Over time, these practices will create big change in your life by showing you how to skillfully navigate causes of friction in your life.

THE PROCESS:

  • Learn about the 3 “Identity Filters” that influence how you see yourself and begin the process of expanding your self-perspective.

  • Learn the 5 “Shadow Clues” that point to hidden beliefs that block you.

  • Gain an understanding of Archetypes and how they work within your own experience (and the collective).

  • Explore the history of your personal belief system through your childhood experiences (Inner Child) and the story of the people who raised you (ancestral experiences).

  • Develop body awareness and learn to trust the intelligence of your truth-telling body signals.

  • Form a new relationship with your Shadow aspects by using an effective step-by-step method for integrating them.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • 1-weekly livestream meeting (6 total).

    • Learn a proven methodology that you can use ongoing to identify self-sabotaging Shadow behaviors and transform what you once judged about yourself into what empowers you.

    • Our set group meets online for 6 weeks (PST).

    • These sessions will not be recorded.

  • 3-weekly livestream yoga classes (18 total).

    • Move out of the theoretical conversation and into a deeper understanding of yourself that is beyond words.

    • Gain access to 3-live-stream yoga classes a week: Mon. @5pm, Wed. @ 8:30p, & Sat. @ 9a PST.

    • Recordings of the yoga classes will be available during the time of the 6-week program.

    • Attendance of the yoga classes are highly recommended, but not required.

  • Private social network.

    • Feel the full support of a community of people who are experiencing a similar inner-process and are learning the same language.

  • Resources for deepening understanding and at-home study.

    • Gain access to resources for ongoing self-study which includes recommended articles, books, movies, and writing prompts to reinforce new ways of filtering your understanding of yourself and the world around you.

    • This course and all of its components happen online, so you can attend from anywhere in the world.

About Catherine la O’

Catherine’s interest in what’s-just-below-the-surface of thoughts, feelings and personal stories motivated her 10-years of formal study in social psychology, yoga, and integral mindset coaching.

She has a deep knowledge and understanding of the inner Shadow and has taught workshops, courses, and teacher trainings on it for more than a decade.

Unlike many Shadow teachers, Catherine sees body practice as a vital component of Shadow exploration and necessary for embracing and celebrating the whole Self.

Time to go into the dark
where the night has eyes
to recognize its own.

There you can be sure
you are not beyond love.

The dark will be your home
tonight.

The night will give you a horizon
further than you can see.

confinement of your aloneness
to learn
